Dr Wolfe, Veterinarian, Owner

Dr. Jessica Wolfe, B.S.c, D.V.M.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors in 2000 from the University of Guelph, Dr. Jessica Wolfe graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2004. Since the age of 16, she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. After graduating and working in general practice for five years, Dr. Wolfe was accepted into a Small Animal Internship for internal medicine and surgery, in Phoenix, Arizona. Here, she closely worked with board certified specialists in a variety of disciplines and successfully completed the program in June 2011. After working for five years between Phoenix and Seattle, missing Canada, she decided to return home and settle down in Langley.

Dr. Wolfe enjoys forming relationships with clients and their pets. She believes good, optimal health begins with focusing on preventative health care. Proper nutrition, daily exercise activities and maintaining good dental health care are also important for a pet’s overall health and well-being. She encourages her clients to ask her questions as she wants her clients to be well-informed about their pets’ health. She appreciates the diversity of the job – each day brings new medical experiences, new pets and challenges, no day is ever boring! When not at the hospital, Dr. Wolfe enjoys traveling, long distance running, gardening, playing the flute and painting with water color and acrylic mediums.

Dr. Erika Glocker, D.V.M.

After graduating from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Erika Glocker began working as a general practitioner in the Seattle area.  During that time, Dr. Glocker enjoyed developing long term relationships with her clients and watching their families grow.  She brings over 20 years of small animal experience with her to Country Grove Veterinary Clinic.  Dr. Glocker’s main focus is on preventative care to keep pets healthy,  and client education to help owners make the best decision for their pet’s well-being.  She has always had animals in her life and currently shares her home with Chewy, a poodle mix,  a black cat named Smokey, rescued from a construction site at 4 weeks of age, and Chuck the box turtle.  In her spare time, Dr. Glocker enjoys gardening, sewing, camping and spending time with her husband and 3 teenage children.

Jennifer-Certified Veterinary Office Assistant

Jennifer was drawn to the Veterinary Industry because she deeply related to others who cherish the bond they have with their animal family. Jennifer wanted to be a part of a Veterinary Team who also has a deep passion for helping people provide the best health care for their family pets. Jennifer graduated from the Douglas College Veterinary Office Assistant program, and has 10 years of experience in the Industry.  She also has some experience in Emergency and Specialty Medicine. She enjoys continuing education – whenever there is a local seminar, Jen will be there!

Piper-Certified Veterinary Office Assistant

Piper joined the CGVC Team in the fall of 2020 as a Veterinary Assistant.  Piper has gained a wide variety of unique animal experiences, such as completing studies at the local wildlife shelter in Langley, and volunteering with a wildlife conservation is South Africa. This allowed her to gain a greater understanding of working with wildlife game in their natural habitat.   Piper is currently completing her Bachelor of Science Degree, as her goal is to become a veterinarian herself!  Her favourite subjects are internal medicine and clinical nutrition. On her days off, Piper will be studying, hiking, or working on one of her many embroidery projects alongside her two cats, Verona and Sullivan, who gives high-fives!

Adria – Certified Veterinary Office Assistant

Adria joined CGVC in May of 2021.   She first developed an interest in animals at the age of 5, when  she started horseback riding. Adria also has quite a few animals at home on her farm! She has 3 horses, 2 dogs and 1 cat. Since then, her interest peaked for the well being of animals as she worked alongside horses. Since she started working at CGVC, Adria’s desire to care for animals and build  relationships with their owners has only grown. Adria has now developed a career goal to achieve a degree in the study of Zoology.  In her spare time, Adria enjoys taking her horse Cole out to show- jumping competitions, as well as baking, and going out to concerts and music festivals.

Lauren – Registered Veterinary Technician

In 2019, Lauren graduated from Douglas College Veterinary Technology program. At a very young age, she developed a passion for animals and a strong interest in science and medicine.  In Veterinary Medicine, she realized she can combine her two passions and achieved her career goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician!  Lauren enjoys laboratory work, dental health care and attending to sick pets in the hospital.  Her favourite part in Veterinary Medicine is strengthening the Human-Animal-Bond between pets and their owners.  When not at the Clinic, she is taking her Wheaten Terrier, Ewok, out for hikes or to the river. On rainy days, she prefers to stay at home to work on craft projects in the company of her sweet but, occasionally grumpy cat, Moo.
