Tattoo and Microchipping

Tattoos and microchips are two options available to help identify your pet.

A microchip is like a tiny computer chip that will be inserted under your pet’s skin, usually between the shoulders. The scanner will read a number from the chip when scanned. This number is unique for your pet. If your pet ever becomes lost, animal shelters and veterinary hospitals can access this unique number from the chip to enter in to the national data base. Then, this enables them to contact you to return your pet home.
